Sarah Hobson, Ph.D. is the founder and President of Community Allies. Since 2006, she has been developing and implementing an ethnodramatic approach to teaching called Honoring Stories and Integrating Curriculum™. Through ethnodrama, youth study social issues by collecting interviews and turning them into films and dramas they use to facilitate cross-cultural dialogue and problem-solving towards informed collective action.
Dr. Hobson uses Honoring Stories and Integrating Curriculum™ to coach teachers in forming within and cross-discipline learning communities focused on the integration of art and local history into instruction. Learn more here: communityalliesconsulting.com |

Contact us!If you have any questions or events or ideas please let us know!
We are always looking for fellow travelers along this long road toward justice. We hope this site provides a snapshot of what we're all about, but to really get a sense of URBAN we need to connect in person. Please reach out at AERA or at other spaces that support justice in our schools and communities. We'd love to hear from you! |
